Squid   Mollusca

The common squid is found from Maine to the Carolinas, often moving in shoals.  A majority of the squid is no more than 60 cm (24 in) long, and the weight can vary depending on species.  Their body can be stuffed whole, cut into flat pieces with curing surface, or sliced into rings.  They provide good sources for zinc manganese, copper, selenium, and vitamin B12.
